Kevin Ritter is a senior managing director, co-head of emerging market debt and portfolio manager at PPM America, Inc. (PPM). In this role, he is jointly responsible for overseeing a team of emerging market debt portfolio managers and analysts. Additionally, he is responsible for emerging market investment and allocation decisions in various portfolios managed on behalf of investors globally. Prior to joining PPM in 2025, Kevin was a portfolio manager at Western Asset Management where he served most recently as Head of Emerging Market Debt, managing emerging market assets for insurance clients. He also held roles at Payden & Rygel, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein LLC and ING Barings LLC. Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Dartmouth College. He is a CFA® charterholder.
