Kevin Zhang is a vice president and analyst on the emerging market debt team at PPM America, Inc. (PPM). He is responsible for the credit coverage of sovereign debt with a focus on emerging markets for potential investment in various portfolios managed on behalf of investors globally. Prior to joining PPM in 2025, he was a portfolio manager, trader and research analyst at Western Asset Management. Kevin earned a master’s degree in business administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from University of California, Riverside.
