Matthew Graves is a managing director and portfolio manager/analyst on the emerging market debt team at PPM America, Inc. (PPM). He is responsible for the credit coverage of sovereign debt with a focus on emerging markets for potential investment in various portfolios managed on behalf of investors globally. Prior to joining PPM in 2025, he was a research analyst at Western Asset Management. Previously, Matthew worked for Denver Investment Advisors. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Pomona College. Matthew is a CFA® charterholder.
