Sean Biggins is a managing director and portfolio manager on the private and structured credit team at PPM America, Inc. (PPM). He leads a team of analysts focused on private corporates and project finance/infrastructure and is responsible for investment and allocation decisions for the firm’s investment grade private credit and investment grade public and private credit strategies which are managed on behalf of investors globally. Previously, Sean was a credit analyst on PPM’s fixed income research team and was responsible for the credit coverage and investment recommendations for other non-U.S. banks, insurance brokers, and high yield financial services. Prior to joining PPM in 2019, he was a credit analyst at Principal Global Investors, where he was responsible for underwriting private placements in transportation, A&D, and media sectors as well as specializing in structured privates. Sean earned a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Northern Iowa. He is a CFA® charterholder.
