Jason Kennedy is a senior managing director and credit analyst on the fixed income team at PPM America, Inc. (PPM). He is responsible for analyzing the credit of food and beverage, tobacco and high yield retail companies for potential investment in various portfolios managed on behalf of investors globally. He is a member of PPM’s Private Credit Approval Committee. Prior to joining PPM in 2007, Jason was a fixed income portfolio manager and a member of the bank’s investment policy committee at Boston Private Bank & Trust. Previously, he was on the global equity team of Baring Asset Management covering the Asia-Pacific region and assisting in the management of EAFE portfolios. Jason earned a master’s degree in business administration from Clarkson University, a master’s degree in investment management from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York. He is a CFA® charterholder.
