Jim Cox is a senior managing director and team lead on the fixed income team at PPM America, Inc. (PPM). He is responsible for analyzing the credit of services, chemical, environmental, packaging, and paper and forest product companies for potential investment in various portfolios managed on behalf of investors globally. Jim joined the fixed income research team in 2001 from PPM’s specialist products group. Prior to joining PPM in 1998, he was an audit manager at Ernst & Young LLP. Jim earned a master’s degree in business administration with concentrations in finance and economics from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is a CFA® charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
