Sundeep Mullangi is a senior managing director and head of fixed income research on the corporate credit research team at PPM America, Inc. (PPM). In this role, he oversees all aspects of the group’s investment activities and operations, including idea generation and analysis, due diligence, engagement with management, and credit underwriting. Sundeep is also responsible for managing a team of analysts focused on finance-related subsectors for potential investment in various portfolios managed on behalf of investors globally. Prior to being named head of fixed income research in 2023, Sundeep was a longstanding member of the fixed income research team. Prior to joining PPM in 2002, Sundeep was a rotational associate in the corporate finance department at GE Capital/Heller Financial. Sundeep earned a master’s degree in business administration with concentrations in finance and marketing from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
