Calvin Walker

Calvin Walker is a managing director and portfolio manager on the total return team at PPM America, Inc. (PPM). He is responsible for investment and allocation decisions for the firm’s core fixed income and investment grade credit strategies which are managed on behalf of investors globally. In addition, he is responsible for making investment recommendations for the firm’s other total return strategies. Calvin joined the portfolio management team in 2005 from PPM’s information technology team where he contributed to various quantitative analysis projects. Prior to joining PPM in 2000, he was a research engineer at BP Amoco. Calvin earned a master’s degree in business administration with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois.
