Chris Raub is president and chief executive officer of PPM America, Inc. (PPM). He is responsible for PPM’s strategy, business operations and ensuring delivery of world-class investment capabilities, results and service to PPM’s clients. Previously, Chris served as President of Jackson National Life Insurance Company (JNL), the main operating subsidiary of Jackson Financial Inc. (JFI), PPM’s parent company. Prior to serving as President of JNL, he was Chief Risk Officer for JFI. Chris also previously held numerous roles within PPM for more than two decades, including head of insurance assets. Prior to originally joining PPM in 1999, Chris worked within GE Capital’s Merchant Banking group, Heller Financial’s Corporate Finance group and Arthur Andersen’s Specialty Consulting group. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Miami University (Ohio).
