Ogechi Nwachukwu is an executive vice president and chief investment officer at PPM America, Inc. (PPM). In this role, he oversees all fixed income and commercial real estate investment personnel and is responsible for supporting efforts to achieve positive investment performance for our clients. Prior to being named chief investment officer, Ogechi served as deputy chief investment officer from July 2023 to March 2025, and previously was the head of fixed income research. Prior to joining PPM in 2001, he worked for Arthur Andersen & Co. as well as the investment banking division of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. Ogechi earned a master's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Nigeria.
